RIVOLI BALLROOM TRIP

Sunday 10th February we will be at the Rivoli Ballroom, Brockley Rise SE London. Dancing 7.30 til 10.30 at the best dance venue in south London. More info at www.simplythebestdancing.co.uk/rivoli.htm

HORSHAM DRILL HALL TO CLOSE

Horsham Drill Hall to close on May 31st, for much needed refurbishment to the roof, toilets and the addition of air conditioning. The good news it will re-open in time for our September 27th dance. This means our existing programme has had to have a number of changes. June 28th and July 26th will now be at Leatherhead Leisure Centre instead of the Drill Hall at Horsham.We are still trying to find an alternative venue for May 24th. As soon as we find somewhere you will be the first to know.

GRAND SUMMER BALL

As we will be heavily booked during the summer at Leatherhead we have altered the venue for the dance on August 2nd. We have booked a fabulous venue in Dorking for that date. We will be holding a grand summer ball, in St Pauls Church, Dorking. Yes we know it’s an unusual venue but you will be as amazed as we were, you don’t have to dance around the pews or even offer up prayers, except the normal ones offered when stepping on the dance floor. Air conditioning not required, a beautiful setting and hopefully we will be able to do it justice. More details as soon as all is confirmed with venue.

HOTEL PICCADILLY SPRING DANCE WEEKEND

There is just one room left for this weekend, if you want to go please contact the Hotel directly. Should you wish to go by coach from Reigate or possibly Leatherhead please let us know by email, if you haven’t already done so, as this is filling up rapidly.

REFURBISHMENT OF LEATHERHEAD LEISURE CENTRE

The refurbishment will now not commence until January 2009 at the earliest so we will be at Leatherhead for our New Years Eve party.

That’s all for this newsletter but we will keep you posted as soon as there is any news. We still have one or two projects which have not yet been confirmed enough to publish. Watch this space.
